In this article, we will be discussing the importance of believing God at His word and having expectation in Him. Oftentimes, we can be bound by discouragement and disappointment from the past, which hinders us from fully embracing the new things that God is doing in our lives. We may hold ourselves back because we fear going through the same disappointments again. However, it is crucial to put our trust in God and believe that He is who He says He is.
Overcoming Discouragement and Disappointment
Sometimes, we may feel discouraged or like we have failed in our faith journey. We may have stepped out in faith, believing God for His promises, only to feel like we didn’t measure up or that we didn’t succeed as much as others around us. However, it is important to remember that even in those moments, we have learned and grown. We have done our best to be obedient to God, and He has been challenging us to step out in new ways with Him. It is through these experiences that we continue to grow and develop our relationship with Him.
Putting Our Expectation in God
In this season, God has been speaking to each of us and giving us downloads from heaven. He wants to fulfill the promises He has given us and increase our understanding of His plans for our lives. It is crucial that we put our expectation and belief in God being who He says He is. If He is calling us to do something new or different, we must trust that He will meet us where we are and fulfill His promises.
Even if the things God is speaking to us may not align with our natural desires or expectations, we must remember that His ways are higher than ours. He has a different way of doing things, and it is through His goodness and mercy that everything comes together. We may have experienced disappointments in the past, but that doesn’t mean we should hold ourselves back from stepping into the new things God has for us.
Testimonies of God’s Faithfulness
There are countless testimonies of God’s faithfulness and miraculous interventions in people’s lives. We have heard stories of marriages being restored overnight, healing manifesting after years of standing in faith, and encounters with the Holy Spirit that have transformed lives. These testimonies serve as a reminder that God is alive and moving, and He is ready to do the same in our lives.
Launching into the New
In one particular situation, we are preparing to launch a virtual church. Initially, we questioned God about this new endeavor, but He challenged us to stop believing Him for what it looked like in the past and to expect something new and different this time around. We have a big expectation and belief that God will fulfill the promises He made long ago. We are stepping out in faith, trusting that His glory will saturate everything we put our hands to.
Prayer for Expectation and Belief Let us pray for each person reading this article, that God would stir up expectation and belief in their hearts like never before. May they recognize that the pruning and stretching they have experienced is preparing them for greater things. As they step out in faith, may they see an abundance of fruit, harvest of souls, and the manifestation of miracles, signs, and wonders.
