Coming Glory

The glory of the Lord will cover the earth like the waters cover the sea. Join Brandi Belt for some practical ways to prepare yourself to carry God’s glory.

In this article, we will explore the concept of carrying the coming glory and the importance of being prepared for the demonstration of power that is yet to come. We will delve into the book of Isaiah, specifically Isaiah 60, and discuss the significance of arising and shining in the midst of darkness. Additionally, we will examine the consequences of sin and the need for repentance and confession. Finally, we will highlight the role of the body of Christ in speaking truth, standing for justice, and being a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Arise and Shine in the Midst of Darkness

As we navigate through these times of shaking, it is important to recognize that the shaking is not yet over. However, when this season of shaking comes to an end, we can expect to witness a demonstration of power like never before. The preaching of the word will be accompanied by signs, wonders, and miracles, leading to a great harvest and supernatural manifestations. The glory of God will shine brighter than ever, even in the midst of darkness.

The Process of Preparation

When we study the life of Jesus, we see that he went through a process of preparation before he began his ministry. He grew before men and before God, and the Holy Spirit descended upon him, leading him into the wilderness to be tested. As he emerged from the wilderness, he was endued with power. This process teaches us that even though Jesus was God in the flesh, he still went through a period of preparation.

Exploring Isaiah 60

In Isaiah 60, we are called to arise and shine because our light is coming. Despite the darkness that surrounds us, the glory of God shines brighter than ever. However, before we can fully embrace this call, we must first understand the consequences of sin. In Isaiah 59:4, it is stated that no one calls for justice or pleads for truth. This resonates with the current season we are in, where there is a lack of justice and truth in the world.

Speaking Truth and Standing for Justice

As members of the body of Christ, we have a responsibility to speak out for those who cannot speak for themselves. We must raise a standard and speak the complete truth, not just partial truths. It is important to acknowledge that racism, discrimination, prejudice, lawlessness, and looting are all wrong in the eyes of God. We must be against these things and speak out against them. God is calling us to be a voice for justice and truth in this generation.

The Atmosphere of Fear and Confusion

In the current season, there is an atmosphere of fear and confusion swirling around many people. However, God is looking for people who will not only speak truth and stand for justice but also understand that there are consequences for sin. We must share with the world that there are consequences for sin and lead them to repentance and confession. Only then can we experience the glory of God and see the manifestation of His power.

Preparing Our Hearts

During this time of staying at home and waiting, it is crucial that we examine our hearts and ensure that we are in a good place with God. We must ask Him to reveal any sin in our lives and seek His cleansing and forgiveness. Sin not only affects us but also those around us. To walk in the image of God and imitate His nature and character, we must constantly seek His cleansing and removal of any hindrances that keep us from looking like Him.

The Coming Power of God

We are entering a time of amazing power, where we will witness incredible things. The dreams, revelations, and testimonies that have been shared all point to the fact that the power of God is real and is coming. It doesn’t matter if we believe in it or not, because when God is ready to move, He will do so without seeking our permission. He shut down nations without hesitation, and He will move in power when the body of believers is ready to carry it.

The Phenomenal Things We Will See

Imagine a world where children born with deformities are brought to men and women of God instead of specialists. Imagine a world where cancer patients seek the house of the Lord for healing instead of immediately turning to chemotherapy. Imagine a world where famine and poverty are overcome by the multiplication of resources, allowing us to feed thousands with just a few loaves of bread and fish. These are the things that God wants to do in our time, and He is looking for a bride who can carry His glory.

Getting Our Hearts Right with God

Before we can be effective voices for justice and truth, we must ensure that our hearts are right with God. We must spend time in His presence, seeking His cleansing and guidance. As we align ourselves with His will, He will invade our lives with His power and glory. We have the privilege of living in a time when God is doing phenomenal things, and it is important that we are in the right place to participate in His work.

Conclusion

In conclusion, we are called to arise and shine in the midst of darkness. We must understand the consequences of sin and lead others to repentance and confession. As members of the body of Christ, we have a responsibility to speak truth, stand for justice, and be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. It is crucial that we prepare our hearts and seek God’s cleansing and forgiveness. We are entering a time of amazing power, where we will witness incredible things. Let us be ready to carry the glory of God and see the world turned upside down by His power and love.
