The world has it’s own definition of success. Don’t confuse that with God’s definition. God’s thoughts are higher and completely different. Get the picture that God is on a completely different level and looks at things in a totally different and superior way.

You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you.

Psalms 50:21

True Success is defined by knowing God, loving God and following His voice. Anything outside of this is a total failure and a huge waste. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. But realize that God has made you unique after His image.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:9

The greatest success that you can have is by knowing God and understanding the will of God for your life and following that plan. Don’t be a people-pleaser but make your goal to follow the Lord with your whole heart living outside the limited box of religiosity. As well, steer away from loving the things of this world.

There are two big traps that the devil sets for people. One is to push you into this legalistic version of living for God. The other is to throw you into the sloppy grace that tells you that God is fine with you living after the lusts of your flesh.

Jesus is neither of these! He is the Holy One that gave us His Holy Spirit. Through the indwelling of the Presence of His Holy Spirit we love following the ways of God from the inside out. His power transforms us into His image from the inside out.

Be a success today by loving God with your whole heart, learn how to enjoy spending time with Him, make His words your meditation, delight in Him and follow His voice!

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
