Hebrews 7:21
But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Do you ever feel like you need a spiritual bath? Sometimes the stuff of life can pile up on you without you even noticing. Because of all the dirt and spiritual mud thrown at you, you can begin to question if God is really for you. You could begin to cry out saying, Where are you The truth is that He is there, but for whatever reason the wall of mud surrounding you is keeping you from experiencing the reality of His love and Presence.
I can remember a few years ago having a vision of the pure crystal waters of God’s Presence flowing from the Throne of God. I came out of the encounter completely refreshed in the glory of God. God’s water is absolutely pure, uncontaminated by the spirit of this world. Just how refreshing these heavenly waters are, I tell you that they are amazing, being completely refreshing to the soul.
There are times when we just need a big refresher of God’s love and peace. Something we must always remember is that Satan is the accuser. He is always pointing the finger at you trying to make you completely self-absorbed, guilt-ridden and at dirt level. Here is a huge statement. Jesus forever lives to make intercession for us.
He stands before the Father on our behalf saying, I paid the price for them with my very life to deliver them and bring them into My eternal inheritance. Isn’t that amazing? This is His LIFE MISSION! This is what He lives forever to do, making intercession for His people. It is mind-blowing that He is engaged constantly that we would see the reality of His love and that through us others would experience His life.
Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
Romans 8:31
Have you ever caught yourself being critical of others Finger pointing, condemning and holding grudges? If so, the devil is trying to establish common ground with you that He can take you out of alignment with Christ. Jesus is constantly declaring not guilty. His blood cries out mercy and grace while the devil is throwing every accusation imaginable. When we come into alignment with Jesus, joining in His intercession for others, then we open our spirit to His living waters to wash us, refresh us and flow through us. Why does Jesus ever live to intercede? Because the devil accuses day and night (Revelation 12:9). If you want rid of the confusion in your life, want to find peace, then get inhabited by the Prince of Peace. Allow Jesus to take over, making you a vessel of intercession and life for others. Repent, ask God to wash and cleanse you from all that hinders you from being a vessel of His mercy, grace and love.
