Within myself I asked the Lord what He would say about His Body, the Body of Christ. Then I had a picture of a fish in a small fishbowl. He began speaking to me about how many in His Body are experiencing the waters of His Presence, but not a full release. But just as a fish swims in circles in a small fish bowl, so many in His Body have done. The fish had a limited vision looking out from the fishbowl, it was limited to the confines of that fishbowl. From my perspective, looking at the fish in the bowl, I could see it had big eyes that were able to see clearly to the outside. At this point I saw the bowl shatter and the fish was set free slipping out from the limited area into an ocean of clear blue. As the fish was beginning to swim into the new open ocean of life it began to grow exponentially. It was also seeing things that it had never seen before, beholding hidden treasures in the depths of this ocean. After beholding these hidden treasures of God this fish began to rise up to the surface of the ocean and was transformed into a ship. Now that this fish had transformed into what was like a huge ocean liner. It was now a rescue ship for those in distress, for those crying out for help who were drowning in this ocean. There were those who were drowning that refused to cry out for help because of the pride of life, not wanting to humble themselves enough to admit that they needed help. But for those who cried out in desperation, the anchor of hope was thrown out from the ship and the lifeline was cast to those people. They would lay hold of that lifeline and be brought to salvation. For those who were saved there was a huge feast awaiting them on this ocean liner. The Captain of the ship was Jesus. He was at the head of the banquet table. It was party time and there was great rejoicing and celebration!
Moving Into The Promised Land
But just as a fish swims in circles in a small fish bowl, so His Body has done. Just as the children of Israel had wandered in the wilderness for 40 years and then they entered the Promised Land, so the time for the Body of Christ to cross over into a new day of promises has come.
Limited to Unlimited
The fish had a limited vision looking out from the fishbowl, it was limited to the confines of that fishbowl. Now this fish had broken free from the limitation. This represents limited thinking, limited seeing, limited influence, etc. God is taking His Body into a place of the unlimited. He is moving us into a place of faith where NOTHING is impossible to him who believes. He is releasing us into an unlimited place of creativity, vision, revelation and influence in our society. He is breaking us out of the boxes of man and placing us into His vast expanse of freedom in faith. He is tearing down the strongholds of limited perspectives and paradigms and bringing us into fresh faith and understanding of His unlimited ability and resources.
Eyes That See
As I was looking at the fish in the bowl, I could see it had big eyes that were able to see clearly to the outside. Many in the Body have been able to see, but because of the blurred vision of having a fishbowl perspective many have interpreted things from that limited perspective, not seeing or understanding the true picture. This limited perspective comes from a set of beliefs that causes a person to interpret everything out of those core beliefs, which in many cases are strongholds built upon lies and superstition instead of Gods Word and the Holy Spirit’s revelation of truth that brings freedom.
The Shattering of the Bowl
At this point I saw the bowl shatter and the fish was set free slipping out from the limited area into an ocean of clear blue. As the fish was beginning to swim into the new open ocean of life it began to grow exponentially. It was also seeing things that it had never seen before, beholding hidden treasures in the depths of this ocean. The Lord is shattering the bowl of our limitations and setting us free to swim in the depths of the ocean of intimacy with Him. It is in this deep place of intimacy that He is able to give us the true riches of His Life. In this place we grow in maturity and knowing Him at deeper levels. We now become the vessels that carry the treasure of His Spirit, the surpassing glory of Christ.
The Transformation
Now that the religious limitations are shattered off of our lives the glory of Christ becomes the transforming substance in our lives. As we behold Him we are transformed into His image and become the carriers of the truth that sets people free bringing healing, salvation and deliverance.
On the Deck
For those who were saved there was a huge feast awaiting them on this ocean liner. The Captain of the ship was Jesus. He was at the head of the banquet table. It was party time and there was great rejoicing and celebration!
