Stand for Truth

God chose you to live during this time in history! Despite the chaos you might be experiencing in this season – God created you for this time because He knew you could glorify His name in the midst of it.

Stand for Truth

We are living in a day where the name of Jesus is being removed from many arenas in our country – sadly even within some streams of the Church.

Despite any pressure you may face to be more politically correct now is not the time to fudge on what you believe – you can’t compromise on who God is or that Jesus is the only way.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)

In a dream, I watched as a young man got onto a city bus, looking rather unassuming he seemed to be on his way to class but I noticed as he went out of his way to sit next to the woman on the bus in a wheelchair. As he struck up a conversation he put his hand on her back and she started screaming. The woman in the wheelchair jumped up and down because she was completely healed, her legs were working.

The young man stood up and started sharing about the power of Jesus. An older man on the bus said it was no big deal, he could also heal people but that Jesus had nothing to do with it. The older man leaned over to someone with a bad back and “healed” him but was cursing Christ. All of a sudden the young man started giving everyone on the bus a hug and over the sound of weeping the majority of the bus received the wonderful gift of salvation.

Pharaoh’s sorcerers performed the same miracles as God’s people but God showed His superiority by eating their rods.

So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the Lord commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent. But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. (Exodus 7:10-12)

The power of God mixed with His love and truth will triumph every time.
