There is an unending call for us to go deeper and higher in God’s Presence. When we each think about the measure of God’s life and presence that we have tasted of and have been exposed to, we must also think of just how much greater and intense God’s glory is in heaven. If we take time to meditate upon the weight of God’s Presence as it is experienced in heaven, we realize that there really is so much more for us to take in. There is a continual call to pursue God in such a way that we are experiencing more of His Presence.
Back in 1885, a revivalist by the name of Maria Woodworth Etter was so saturated with God Presence that her critics were concerned that if they came to her meetings they would run more risk of falling under the power of God than being able to criticize if they went. She was very much in touch with the life of glory that God has ordained for each of us. Her life is just an example of how God can use us when we are totally surrendered to His call. It is cannot be only about the words that we speak, our great head knowledge, but that it is just as Moses said
Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.”
Exodus 33:15
God is after our hearts. Our call is to be a people of God’s glory. Jesus made the way for us to live in the same grace that He walked in.
Most assuredly, I say to you, “he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”
John 14:12
Let’s allow the Lord to give us a vision of how things can be. As we catch the standard of “on earth as it is in heaven” we will begin to see that we are “the breakers” that break open the way for others to enter into the life of His Kingdom.
