Despite being involved in lots of great activities that seem spiritual – I realized there were things I was spending my time on that weren’t advancing the Kingdom of God.

God wants you to bear fruit in every area of your life. All of us can fall into the trap of going through the motions of following God and not realize He is not even in what we are doing.

You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that the Father may give you whatever you ask Him in My name.

John 15:16

This week – take some time to evaluate where you are investing your time and energy. Is what you are doing advancing the Kingdom of God? Is your effort producing fruit that will remain?
