The plans we make are a powerful weapon. When we plan ahead with the heart of God we actually thwart the enemy’s plans. When we are intentional about what we do it takes the enemy by surprise. Our Spirit-led planning prevents any unneeded conflicts from taking place. Instead of us being steps behind, we can be steps ahead.
Isn’t that the way it is supposed to be? God has created us to be the head and not the tail. But if we are always on the tail end of things we will never have victory. We need to be ahead of things, taking ground on the aggressive. Being complacent never accomplishes anything. Laziness is a destructive mindset. Sometimes people are just thrown into a whirlwind of confusion not wanting to be lazy, but cant get their focus. God wants to bring our lives into focus.
Through our intentional planned actions we stay on the front end. When we live with a prophetic edge, seeing what is to be from God’s perspective, we can make plans to see those things come to pass. A man plans in his heart, but the Lord orders the steps (Proverbs 16:9). If we don’t plan in our heart then there are no steps to order. Plan to do nothing and nothing will happen.
God wants us on the front end of things, walking in wisdom and the shalom of His Presence. This is where we will flourish as we are walking in a prepared place for what He has in store. We need to be washed, cleansed, clothed and ready for what the Lord has in store. What are the promises that God has given you? Yet, it is something through small obedience and through what may not even look like the best plan that God brings them to pass. The hand of the diligent will prosper (Proverbs 21:5). We need to be years ahead of our time, instead of years behind. No matter what place you are in, God has the ability to catch you up and get you ahead in the game. His grace is there for all of us. Thank God for His grace because we all need it, grace to overcome. He has plans for our prosperity. Did you know that God has good plans for you?
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11
From the beginning God has always had good plans for His people. We need to get in on His plans for us. If God does not speak to us anything specific once we have sought Him out on things, then it may be that we go with what seems best for all things that affect and concern us. God also has given us a conscience that helps us to know that is good and what is bad. Through that we do obtain a measure of direction and a pure wisdom. Be a person with a plan as you move into what God has planned for you.
